Born and raised in the Bay Area, Dr. Judy earned a bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from UC Davis. She continued her education at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, where she completed both a second bachelor’s degree in Vision Science and her Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Judy further honed her expertise by studying ocular disease at the renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. In 2011, just a year after graduating, she founded Bella Eye Care Optometry, turning a challenge of finding a full-time job into an opportunity to create her own practice.
